Considering today’s aesthetic applications, filling applications are among the most preferred non-surgical aesthetic methods. Depletion of collagen and hyaluronic acid, which occurs as a result of bad habits such as excessive use of mimics, advancing age, skin dryness, smoking and alcohol, makes our skin age and lose its elasticity day by day. Filling application is one of the non-surgical aesthetic methods developed as a solution to all aesthetic problems caused by these conditions. The filler material varies according to the need and the physical structure of the person to be applied. There are different filling materials that contain hyaluronic acid, synthetic material and collagen. Of course, as before every procedure, a physical examination should be performed before this procedure. It is necessary to check whether the person is suitable for treatment. Filling application can be applied to areas such as lips, nose and mouth, cheeks, temples and lower jaw, eyebrows and under-eye bags.
You can be discharged on the day of the procedure. It takes a period of 2 weeks for the filling to set completely.
Anyone over the age of 18 who does not have an allergy to filling materials can apply to this application. A detailed physical examination is required before the procedure.
Since local anesthesia is applied to the area where the filling will be applied, no pain is felt during the procedure.
Applications such as fillers and botox are not permanent applications. The effect of such applications disappears after about 6-12 months and the area becomes old.
After 1 day, light sports such as walking can be started. It is necessary to wait at least 1 week for activities that require heavy performance.
After 1 day, you can take a shower without being too hot.
It varies according to the region where it is applied. Generally, the process is completed within 30 minutes.
Filler application is a commonly used procedure in aesthetic surgery, aimed at correcting wrinkles, reshaping facial contours, and restoring lost volume. This procedure involves injecting filler substances into the skin. Filler substances typically consist of natural or synthetic materials such as hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, poly-L-lactic acid, among others. Each filler material has different properties and applications. For instance, hyaluronic acid fillers are often used to enhance lip volume or fill deep wrinkles, while calcium hydroxylapatite fillers are typically used to support bone structure and improve skin elasticity.
Individuals who can benefit from filler application are typically those aged 30 and above. With aging, the skin may experience volume loss, wrinkles, and sagging. Filler application is a suitable option for those looking to alleviate or eliminate these signs of aging. However, it is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, allergic to filler materials, or have skin infections.
Filler application encompasses various techniques and filler materials. The most commonly used filler materials include hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, poly-L-lactic acid, and polymethylmethacrylate. Each filler material has distinct properties and effects, so the choice of filler material is determined based on the patient’s needs and preferences.
Filler application is typically performed by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon in an office setting. Before the procedure, the treatment area is cleansed, and a topical anesthetic cream is applied. Subsequently, the filler material is injected into the skin using fine needles. The procedure usually takes 15 to 30 minutes, and patients are discharged on the same day. The effects of the filler material are usually visible immediately, but full results may take a few days or weeks to appear.
Filler application generally offers a rapid recovery process. Patients may experience mild swelling, redness, or tenderness after the procedure, but these symptoms typically resolve within a few days. To expedite the recovery process, skincare products can be used, and sunscreen can be applied. Additionally, strenuous exercise should be avoided, and proper skincare should be maintained following the procedure.
After filler application, patients should pay attention to certain key points. For example, avoiding hot baths and sun protection are recommended in the first few days after the procedure. Additionally, if swelling or pain is experienced, consulting a doctor is advised.
